with midterms over it would seem that republicans won many seats in both the Senate and House that they didn't have before. they now have the majority on the House of Representatives, and a stronger hold on the senate. In S.D, republicans Kristi  Noam, and Dennis Daugaard won the house seat and Governor position respectively.
     The speaker of the house also seems to be changing from democrat Nancy Pelosi, to republican John Boehner, showing the the house will likely move to a more Republican agenda. with all the new republicans in the house and senate, and with a democratic president still in charge of things, things will get complicated.
